Victor Wooten was just two years old when he played his first gigs with the Wooten Brothers Band (featuring Regi on guitar, Roy Fututeman on drums, Rudy on sax and Joseph on keyboards). They opened shows for Curtis Mayfield, War and others. Eventually settling in Nashville, Wooten connected with like-minded banjoist and composer Béla Fleck and joined forces as the Flecktones. Wooten has earned five Grammy Awards, has been honored three times by Bass Player Magazine as Player of the Year and is included in Rolling Stones Top 10 Bassists of All Time.
