BIG BOSS BASS is a powerhouse duo of two massive talents.

Tony Saunders is bassist who is a two time Emmy Winner( the first when he was only 14 years old) He grew up in the shadow of his famous father Merl Saunders and the internationally acclaimed record label “Fantasy Records” He has been steeped in music from an early age. Herbie Hancock and Sly Stone were among his early teachers. His first bass guitar was a gift from Tom Fogerty (Brother of John Fogerty) and by age 17 he was playing with Jerry Garcia (of Grateful Dead fame). Tony is currently the Northern California Entertainers Jazz Artist of the Year. He also has a hit Single with Gerald Albright currently in the top 20 on the Billboard Jazz charts, but his roots are deeply embedded in blues. Not only has he been featured on numerous Blues recordings, Tony has worked with a staggering list of music icons such as Etta James.
