Green and Blues, a new musical suite by Marcus Shelby, will celebrate and honor the virtues of a sustainable and green environment with instrumental, vocal, and spoken word. Composer/bassist Shelby keeps the tradition of the big band jazz orchestra alive with the Marcus Shelby Orchestra, featuring some of the best jazz musicians in the Bay Area. Commissioned by YBGF.
The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry and children’s programs.
